my gal journey

i officially became a gyaru on 11/08/2024 after years of admiring the style from afar.

ive always really liked alternative fashion but i could never really settle on a single style. i re-discovered gyaru through reddit last year and the creative makeup and diversity of substyles immediately interested me!

i don't focus on one particular substyle as i like to change things up and take inspiration from many places. some of the substyles i take inspiration from are banba, tsuyome, agejo, ora ora and amekaji. i am also interested in other styles such as decora and lolita.

a lot of gals maintain online blogs about their gal looks and activites, but i've never felt very comfortable writing these kind of blogs: i want my posts to be meaningful and writing them would take me a lot of time and commitement. i decided instead to create this section of my website to host outfits, inspiration, links to resources and possibly my own articles in the future!
