ACIDICDARKNESS
the website i owned prior to THE RIFT was named ACIDICDARKNESS and had a very scene-inspired design with neon colors, glitter and rainbows. this website wasn't responsive and pages were quite inconsistent as i never took the time to fix all of their html.
V1.0 (MOTHCORE)
MOTHCORE started out on 01/09/2020 with a much more simple theme and an "edgier" black and red color scheme. mobile-friendly design was a priority from the start.
V2.0 (MOTHCORE)
the revamp of 20/03/2022 had a more ianto-focused theme with the introduction of several selfship pages. the layout also used more decorative images than before.
V3.0 (MOTHCORE)
the indentity of THE RIFT solidified itself with the swirly home page gif even before the use of the url therift.neocities.org. the biggest changes compared to V2.0 are the fonts, the addition of "ads" on the homepage and the introduction of dithered backgrounds.
V4.0 (THE RIFT)
the current version of THE RIFT features a brand new landing page, new fonts, as well as a more "cluttered" and creative design.
